Opetron 165 vs 3700+

I have a 3700+ san D. and I'm considering getting the opt 165 does any one know how much off a diffrence it will make?

Depends on what you do with the chips. If you do alot of multimedia encoding and use multithreaded software, the dual core opteron would make your system faster overall. Nowadays, even games are multithreaded so there's a good chance that just about everything you do will be faster.

Unless you multi-task A LOT, just stay with your 3700+ and wait until later to buy it.

I'll be ditching my excellent overclocking 3700+ SD next month after I get myself an X2 4400+. I've waited long enough. :)
