Operation Flashpoint...

Does anyone here remember Operation Flashpoint. I never remember it getting much mention, but I think it was a pretty awesome game. They are apparently making a new one set to come out at the end of 2004. Could be cool. The first one was pretty damn neat...

Although I hardly got into it (I don't really recall why), it was an awesome game. A couple of magazines/websites gave it their Game of the Year award.

Awesome variety. Wide open areas to roam around in. But very, very hard to play.

2nd one is due in late 04. Set in Vietnam Not really what I wanted to see. A WWI or WWII one would be pretty cool, but WWII is pretty played.

Excellent game. The Resistance expansion was IMHO the best expansion pack for any game, period.

Great concept, but the graphics and control were especially lacking. Still fun at LAN parties

Good game and concept, but there were WAY too many bugs.

I thought it was an amazingly cool game, the controls seemed kinda clumsy at times, but I really liked it.
