I have a serious deal condition... today i drove around the entire city looking for FREAKING candy bars. I went to Walmart first, no go. Then costco, they only had the newer packaging. Then Shaw's and Hanaford supermarkets. I found the candy i wanted there but it was well over any profitablity. I just went to the mobil right near my house but they are not running a 3 for a dollar deal, while the competing store is :/ ... I didnt get a chance to hit the dollar stores today, that will come tomorrow :p ... if i am able to find the "right" candy i will be purchasing at least $50 worth if not more.

You know you have a problem when you seriously consider pricematching candy bars at a grocery store.

- I would give my details about this deal but i am afraid that once the AT effect kicks in, the company will quickly kill it.

Sometimes I get on a kick like that, but then I realize that the time and gas I waste searching out a deal negates the benefit of the deal.

Nah, if he had any Ferengi skillz he'd find a manufacturer's coupon, use a Safeway double coupon (if available in your area) AND pricematch.

Susan and I bought some Florida's Natural orange juice last weekend because they were on sale 2 for $5. Well each of them rang up at $3.67 or something obscenely expensive amount like that. So I calmly protested that the sales ad AND sign said 2 for $5. This held up the entire line, so I felt like a major a$$hole ;) quibbling over barely over $1.00 just for OJ. Well she came back and shocked us, apologized, said I was right, and since it was a pricing ERROR we got 1 of the OJ's for FREE and the other was $2.50.

AnyMal - Sure I'll gladly seek professional help, but only if it's at least 50% below retail :D

for every candy bar i buy, i get a dollar in online cash, thats why i want to rob the whole city of them :p so if i can get them 4 for a dollar that would be a .75 profit on EACH bar and free candy ... I think the dollar store is going to be my best bet... I felt like Rossman though today at costco, while ripping open candy boxes looking for the correct labels. Costco doesn't like me anyway :p

That is the RossMAN way. Getting a company to PAY YOU for taking their product.

Oh yeah and BTW, i have already tryed Staples ( my fine company :p) .. we don't carry the candy i need or else i would PM and use a coupon! I acuatly pm candy all the time at staples... walmart has it for 48 cents and we are 59. I used to do it to this girl that used to work with me.... she would get so mad that she had to go through all the steps just for 11 cents :p

I want in on some of the freebies. However, it's not worth expending all the energy all of the time to save a few bucks. There are sometimes when you have to bite the bullet and pay retail. ;)

The gas (not to mention wear/tear on your car) you're wasting ... just to get some candy bars for profit... hmm....

It was posted over on Ftwallet I believe. You get a $.99 credit for certain online stores for every candy bar you buy that has a green label. The green label means the candy bar is actually from last year. Evidently they were only giving away $.25 last year, but now that they are expired they are giving away $.99 each, which could lead to some serious profit.....:)
