When browsing network shares, the entire OS locks up indefinitely and killing the process restarts explorer.

...ie that's a really broad question. What are you trying to do exactly?




wait nm. you mean what do you do in the aformentioned case when explorer.exe hangs?

kick off task manager and start explorer.exe again. Tada!
