Both are good,personal preference really.

FYI I have Firefox on one PC and Opera on the other.

Opera is the better overall browser... but I prefer the way a lot of features work in Firefox as opposed to Opera such as Adblock and other extensions/features that don't exist in Opera

Hay guyz, witch is bettar, Coke or Pepsi? :D

Seriously, they are both full-featured, well-developed, standards-compliant browsers with many features. Try them both and stick with the one you enjoy browsing with the most.

I'd say Firefox is more like a 2000 Civic EX, Opera is like an '04 Audi RS6, and Internet Explorer is like a 1988 Honda Accord.

Firefox, like a Civic has a lot of easy-to-install and generic bolt-on components. Yes, some of them are great, and you can get it to work very well and be very fast, but despite all the "customization" you usually come out with a pretty damn generic "aftermarket" car.

Opera, like the RS6, is relatively uncommon - it can be customized, but due to a much smaller user-base, aftermarket parts are nowhere near as common. It also performs much better right out of the lot (or off the net) than a Civic, and doesn't require nearly the amount of work that the Civic will to be a very impressive car.

Internet Explorer is much like an old Accord since it's hugely popular, generally does what most people need it to (albeit not nearly as well as a lot of other cars), and people are very comfortable with it.

I use both & while there are things I like better about Firefox, Opera is a far more advanced browser which works just about perfectly "out of the box" while Firefox requires tweaking to make it do everything I want.

Firefox, simply because of the web development tools available (Firebug anyone?). From a normal user's viewpoint, both are very very good browsers. Totally a matter or preference.

Firefox here, use Opera on my Wii :)

I've developed a bunch of useful add-ons for FireFox, so I stick with it
