Mozilla Firefox 1.x with all vendor patches installed and all vendor workarounds applied, is currently affected by one or more Secunia advisories rated Moderately critical
If you look at the pie charts, you'll see opera had 4 holes patched, 3 which were "moderately critical" and 1 which was "less critical". Firefox had 18, ranging up to "highly critical"
Note that Opera isn't free (you either have to pay for it or look at their ads). I hear it's faster and better in most other ways though. (I've never used it)
