Opera not completely loading pages. Getting really annoying!

Anyone else having this issue. Either it will load a portion of the page and just stops or won't load at all and just gives a hourglass. Seems to only happen on some pages and if I clear the cache, close and reopen opera the sites start working fine again.

This is on a XP sp3 rig with 2gigs or ram running opera 10.51. I have about 10 tabs opened with mostly only text.

That happens on one of my systems as well. Usually, closing the application & restarting it will solve the problem. This release is probably the most annoying version ever. Usually, I just complain about them moving various settings around. This time, the browser just seems buggy. I especially hate that the browser's cache is now a game of musical chairs.

for me, 10.51 is a minor improvement in performance over 10.5, but yeah it's getting really annoying. now youtube is giving opera the finger with this Go Upgrade (flash) BS.

edit:
LOL this very post took me 2 minutes

more often now, i'm having websites just die on me. links do nothing and i can't scroll in the middle of the page, but the scroll bar still works. i'm surprised opera released this POS.

it seems 1 work-around for the youtube problem is clearing the cache, although this doesn't work for everybody. another thing to try is edit site preferences > identify as firefox.

I really like opera but it can't open a new tab when clicking on a link from a different website like firefox. Doesn't use a new tab either when opening a new website from a used tab. At least I never seen or heard of a add on that does this for Opera. Same problem with chrome. Always like it happening when I left click on links.

With that being said is the voice activated browsing worth it? Never tried it before.

Yea it seems like they really messed up opera 🙁

i think what you want to do is click with middle mouse button?

the only time i see this issue in opera is when it cant load an add because adservers are slow. i simply hosts block the ad server and the issue goes away

the Youtube thing is a whole different story, i noticed it last night, as i was away earlier in the week for work. ive installed the latest flash and done just about everything i can think of and it still wont work. works in IE just fine.

Had this problem with youtube too. There's a script that bypassing this stupid update thing.

This was a YouTube issue, but Opera solved it since Google refused to do so. You should be able to click HELP and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. It will tell you Opera is already updated, but nonetheless, it will change some Javascript so that Youtube will work.
