Opera mouse gestures

man i started using opera a few months ago and have gotten used to the mouse gestures.

i have just been attempting to use mouse gestures on a normal windows explorer window thinking to myself "WTF wont this go back a page!"

then realising oh yeah, i gotta actually press the back button.

I remapped my mouse gestures for jsut the most useful one:

Right Click Up = Open new page
RC-Down = Close
Flip left = back
Flip right = reopen closed

which ones are you using?

I use the default gestures but I love them. I absolutely find myself doing them with every window. I find myself hitting ctrl+enter on websites, and crtl+b in the address bar.

I absolutely love the default Opera mouse gestures. I too try and use them in windows explorer then I remember they don't work in it 🙁. It's just such a handy and easy way to access common shortcuts rather than keyboard combinations when you're hand is already on the mouse.

yeah love them. i also really like the feature for going forward when opera tried to find the next link. i admit that it doesn't always work, but it does for the most part. really usful when reading long threads here.

i use all in one gestures with firefox. i do sometimes accidentally gesture <- in ie to go back😛 i only use 3 gestures back foward and close tab which is down and to the right. my mouse already has enough buttons for binds like f5 and such.

i just use back and forward mainly, couple of times i end up closing tabs, switching tabs and making new tabs by accident. i use the mouse wheel to open links in a new tab, that one works on FF, but i find myself using that one in outlook express when i have links in my mail and it just sits there lol
