I'm a first time Opera user. Downloaded the newest version but can't figure out a few things.
I can't set the email up at all. I entered in all my info but it never seems to check it.
If I go to Mail/Manage Accounts, it says "POP: Disconnected;SMTP: Disconnected".

Anyone know exactly how I can set this up?>

BTW I am trying to configure it to mindspring if that matters.

I am using the newest Opera 7.0 and I have no trouble checking my Hotmail or Yahoo mail accounts. For my other email account I have to Outlook but that has nothing to do with Opera. How are you trying to set it up?
 
thanks for replying. I think I have it working now.
I was thinking when I selected the Check Mail, it would open a window up with my mail in it. However, as soon as I clicked on the actual Mail icon, it showed my mail. Still can't get the notification sound to work but that's no big deal right now.
