Opera Ad Blocking?

I'm trying to get this to work http://www.operaadfilter.com/ but for some reason whenever I update the filter.ini it doesn't reflect in my browsing. I still see the ads.

give it up, and go with admuncher. it works well out of the box.

other possibility is the ad images are still in your cache. you should choose the "delete private data" option to clear your cache. you also need to restart opera before new ad filters take effect (this according to their documentation
