Opera 7 vs Windows XP --> HELP

Here's the story... I've been running Opera 7 for quite awhile now and everything's been just fine. However, 10 minutes ago Opera decided not to open when I attempt to open it. I check my running processes and it says that opera.exe is running (and taking up a huge chunk of processor cycles), but it never actually opens on my desktop. Has anyone heard of anything similar to this happening? Is there a way to fix it? If not, is there a way to at least keep my Hotlist so I don't have to retype everything in when/if I end up having to reinstall? Thanks so much in advance...

Do you honestly think that I haven't tried this solution? No offense, but I wouldn't be complaining if that's all it took.

If you end up wanting to reinstall it you can save your bookmarks and other important stuff beforehand. The bookmarks are called "operadef6.adr" and are in the rot of the Opera7 folder. You should also backup your "Mail" folder and if you want to save your "Contacts" list it's in the "profile" folder and is called "contacts.adr". Basically you can save all the Opera configuration settings if you do a little reading in the Opera forums before you try this.
