Opera 10 and Proxy detection

I'm at a site that requires 'Auto Detect Proxy' to be set, but I can't seem to find the option in Opera 10. FF3.5.3 and IE8 are fine. Why not Opera?!

Couldn't find any useful results on Google...that would load anyway.

Nope. Already counted that out. That needs a proxy configuration script location.

That's how proxy autodetection works. It uses either a special DHCP option or a DNS entry to locate the configuration script and then runs that script to determine whether or not to use a proxy for each URL.

Well, no. Auto proxy doesn't always need a script. See here:

FF and IE allow for autodetection. Opera demands a script location or it will not save the automatic setting.

Well either Opera doesn't support WPAD for find the PAC script or that dialog needs fixed. But either way proxy autodetection requires a PAC script.

Yeah, it's looking like this. Disappointing.
