openSUSE 11.0 RC 11 is out

Dang it! Something else to do...

That's what I was waiting for.

Now I gotta get off 'the pot' and switch my lappy over!

Thanks! Sort of... 😀

Maybe once or twice a long time ago, I cannot remember. I use Synaptic on Ubuntu. Is it superior to the pleasure that is using Synaptic?

BTW, any idea what version of ALSA is on it?

it is superior to synaptic as it is more than just a software installer, it has dozens of modules that cover everything from hardware configurations to security options.

I put 10.3 on my laptop and couldn't get my Dell 1390 wireless driver to work. nVidia and Compiz were screwed up....but it was the 64 bit version. I think I'm going to stick with the 32 bit versions for better driver support. I just hope the driver kinks have been worked out or I'm going back to SLED 10 SP1.... Being on the bleeding edge is very cool, but sometimes not worth it when trying to make wifi work. 😉
