OpenOffice Calc (notes) + Excel.

The office uses MS Excel and I'm using OO Calc to view spreadsheets. I don't do much with documents, so it's not too bad. Unfortunately, the Excel spreadsheets have notes associated with some fields and this screws up in OO Calc. In Excel, the note window will pop up next to the appropriate field. In OO Calc, the note window might appear a few of rows down or up from the appropriate field for the note. Is it possible to default the note window position so it's not such a pain to use?

I did try to google my answer, but I'm not using the right keywords or not many people use notes in Calc.
