Opening Firefox on Mac?

try dragging it to be the size you want, then hit apple +q to quit

then try reopening it.. does it keep its shape?
 
Done that...however each time the window will move back to the same location on the screen and it will resize
 
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but you should head into your Home/Library/Preferences folder, and delete the org.mozilla.firefox.plist file and then restart Firefox.

See if that helps.
 
Just curious, are you launching it from the disk image or did you drag the app into your Applications folder first?
