I just got a Casio QV-700 and really like it. But the CD I got with it is scratched badly. I tried DiscDr and it's too far gone.
But without it I can't open the .CAM files this camera makes. I tried downloading a commercial package made for this camera, (beausoft.com) but it's a clunky POS.
Is there a way to open these files directly in Photoshop? I've tried renaming the extension to .jpg and .tif and such, no luck.
Any ideas? Or does anybody have a copy of the QV-Link software I can buy or borrow (I *do* own it, but my copy doesn't work... not trying to warez here.) Casio no longer sells the software online and their parts distributers want $40 for it. :Q That's what I paid for the camera!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
