If you can open it with a prybar or dropping on a corner than that's no safe - it's a locked box!

A REAL safe will present a serious challenge that only a pro should tackle. Sure you could lance it or blow it up, etc. but what good is that when the contents are also destroyed in the process?!

After searching for Meilink Thermovault it looks like a fairly substantial vault.

To those saying drill or torch, it doesn't take any kind of very exotic materials sandwiched together to defeat most drilling, cutting torches, or cutting wheels.

Are there any kind of serial numbers on the outside?

Your first choice would be to contact the factory to see if the original factory combination is still set on the safe. If that doesn't work, then you would need to contact a safe company in your area to have them open it for you.

The Factories web address is: www.fireking.com
When the page comes up the third line down (pink) will have various options. Under the heading "Retail & Commercial" you will see the name "Meilink". Click on this link and it will take you to Meilink's site. On the left side of the page under Resource Center, you will see the heading Customer Service.

Or you can call Meilink. Their number is: 1-800-528-9900. Explain to the customer service rep what you need and they may be able to help you.

Wait, is this safe removable, or is there a way you could wrap wire around it? No, not wire, but pipe. Induction coil till it melts. :D

Ah, this thread reminds me of that Mythbusters episode where they had safe cracking, ventilation duct scaling, laser alarms, etc. Hilarious episode.
