Opening a new CD is excruciatingly difficult

For $14, I'd expect the initial experience to at least be somewhat pleasant. Instead, my brand-new CD has sticker residue all over it and it took 10 minutes to open the darn thing. :|

Just pop open the bottom hinge and fold the top over to remove the sticker. Unless it is the shrink wrap giving you trouble?

You just don't know how to open a CD properly. There is a very very simple way to clean up glue w/o using that goo gone sh!t. Maybe I should make a video on how to open a CD. Hmmm...

That's the best idea I've heard all day! Man, I wish I'd thought of that... :(

I haven't bought a CD since HS.

That whole "removing the shrink wrap and the cellupan sticker" feels SO OLD.

I had a $50 gift card to Best Buy, and music is the only thing I can buy there and stay under $50. :(

You might want to consider carrying a pocket knife, like a little Swiss Army Knife. BTW I wouldn't use Goo B Gone on plastics. :)

I always got annoyed by the CD cases where the CD is so difficult to wrest free from the piece sticking up in the middle. You try to pry the CD off and you end up bending the CD almost to the breaking point. What's the purpose in having them on so tight? It's not like the CD is going to get away anywhere since it would still enclosed within the closable case...
