OpenID verification error, on one PC only

Hi,

I have a really bizarre problem. I use my Gmail account to sign into Dominion.isotropic.org (browser-based multiplayer game), via OpenID, which is coded into the site.

I never had a problem until after I opened a Gravatar account and uploaded an image. After that, when I try to sign in via OpenID, my browser sends me to a blank screen that says "Verification failed." This occurs no matter whether I use Gmail or Yahoo mail, and regardless of which specific account I use -- it looks like OpenID on that site is now broken for my specific PC.

I have totally wiped my cache, cookies, history, everything in Chrome -- no effect. I tried in Internet Explorer 9, Firefox and then even uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome. Same error. Rebooting the computer also does nothing. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Java version.

However, on my iPad, or any other PC, I can log in via OpenID without any problem and the new Gravatar image works too.

Does anyone have any ideas? It would really be nice to be able to login via OpenID (there is no other way to login to Dominion on Isotropic).

I can login anonymously without using OpenID and it works fine.

I am no expert, but it seems the problem is specific to my PC, which means there is a file, or registry setting, or SOMETHING, that prevents the login transaction from going through.
