OpenGL2.0 vs OpenGL1.4?

On newegg's website, when you are comparing video cards. Some have OpenGL2.0 and some have OpenGL1.4 etc.

I don't think many games use OpenGL anymore anyways, but should this affect which video card I buy?

Well, considering that OpenGL2.0 still isn't approved, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Everything right now uses 1.4 with custom extensions.

OpenGL is currently at 1.5.
