Can anyone help me out? I tweaked the little SOB with RadeonTweaker but still it won't work. Quake, Quake II, nor Half-Life will work in OpenGl mode. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Anytime anything doesn't work, you should,,,

reinstall drivers or try different drivers

Well, I've tried that. They wouldn't work with the CD drivers so I installed the newest official drivers and still nothing. Sooooo I downloaded some unsupported (special purpose I think is what ATI calls them) drivers and tried those. Still nothing. :p Am I doing something totally wrong here?? :)

Thanks,

Which Tweaker are you using? I have heard that some are having probs with the 4.6 version......

It will also depends on which 'CD' you loaded drivers from. I've read that you should never, ever use the 'Red' CD drivers. If that's what you've done, or truly even if not, then you need to go to Rage3D and read the 'how-to' guide on removing and reinstalling the correct drivers. I've read on this board several times that you MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE GUIDE EXACTLY. Good luck! By the way, the Radeon LE is awesome for the price and the tweakability!

I'm using RadeonTweaker v1.0.0. The overclocking section isn't working so I guess I'm gonna have to reinstall that or something, but that's irrelevant to the topic at hand. I did install the 'red' CD drivers, but I'd all ready uninstalled them via the Rage3d.com method. Very thorough, nicely written I might add. Still nothing. :frown: Has anyone else had this problem or am I just special? :) One thing I thought of that might help is that I'm running Windows 95. I don't think the Radeon has official Win95 drivers/support, so perhaps that's the reason for my grief. Any ideas? Comments?
