OpenGL not working?

I've been having problems running 3d video with my evga e-geforce fx5700 le. I had problems with 2d also, xp would load up and the picture would be terrible colors didn't line up couldn't read anything. Kinda ilke a tv with bad reception. Well I fixed that by disabling AGP fast write, so now 2d performance is fine. But when I go to play battlefield vietnam or something using opengl it starts doing it in the game, but when back in 2d it's fine. I downloaded the opengl tester, and something was obviously wrong because it was supposed to create a spinning box if it was working, but it didn't. I have the directx 9.0c drivers installed as well as the new nvidia drivers. Any othe ideas or bios settings I should check? Thanks

Maybe the video card fan is not running. It sounds like a hardware problem if your 2d was messed up. If you go to the BIOS before winXP loads, does the text look funny/broken there?

The fan is running. The 2d was only crappy when I had agp fast write on, after I disable it 2d was running fine.
