I have an iomagic TNT2 m64 installed and working with windows 98SE. When I start an opengl-based application, the computer will lockup after about 1 or 2 seconds. I can tell that the demos are running faster than they were with my previous card (SiS6326), but I can't enjoy them because of the system hang problems. Any ideas? thanks!

I'll post the motherboard name later. What I have now is this: Pentium II 300, 64 MB EDO 60ns RAM, and a AGP 1.0 slot. Computer built in mid 1998.
I've heard that I might need to disable sidebanding with the older AGP motherboards.

You might want to post some other system specs as well.

Is your CPU an AMD? For some reason, AMD systems + SBlive! + Graphic accelerators seem to be prone to crash more often than expected...

You probably have LX mobo. If thats the case then its an old issue.
Early LX mobos dont supply enough power to AGP port.
Disable AGP and test it. No lockups but performance will drop.
