OpenGL/D3D Flashing Textures...

Greetings ALL,

I am running a P3 600B on a Asus P3v4x mobo with 256 Mg Sdram. Leadtek Geforce DDR 32 mg, Win98SE, using DirectX 8a and the Nvidia Detonator 12.41.

Ok here is the problem, when I enter any 3D game or app, I get a weird flashing on the screen where pieces of the picture disappear and reappear over and over. Like a pixel here and a square there kinda thing. Seems random as far as the areas themselves but it is very annoying on the eyes. My mobo has the latest bios available and has the necessary Via Chipset software installed. The problem occurs even tho I have 4 fans installed in my case and leave the case open, so It is NOT a heat issue. Please advise, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, me and my friend have both had that problem, both of us had win2k but I had a Geforce 3 while he had a GF2 Pro. The solution I found is to go to the lower drivers again like 6.50 or something like that. If this doesn't help then I guess you might have to wait.
