Is OpenGL 2.0 even out yet? The docs on www.opengl.org only go up to 1.5, plus the extensions...

They really can't make cards for standards that aren't "official" yet. :p

I believe ATI has had "OpenGL2.0" support for a long time now. Whatever that means. :D

With SMARTSHADER? 2.0 and fully programmable floating point precision, the FireGL X1 is the first workstation graphics architecture to fully support Microsoft DirectX 9 and OpenGL 2.0 in one single solution.

ATI press release in mid 2002.

glview shows Forceware 6.1.7.2 to be 100% compliance to OpenGL v1.5 and 100% compliance OpenGL SL v2.0, Same as Catalyst IIRC. I think thats the latest.

I guess I've been slightly out of the loop lately. I knew that OpenGL 2.0 was in development, and I think yet to be ratified, but I didn't know that they were up to OpenGL 1.5 yet, I thought that 1.4 was the latest "official" standard. I'm guessing that the OpenGL 2.5 thing on NewEgg was a simple typo, and they meant OpenGL 1.5 support.
