Open Water

I just saw this on DVD and thought it was pretty damn good. I'm usually not into these voyeuristicly shot movies that look more like professional home videos, but I'm making this an exception. I never really gave this movie a chance so I let it go and that's why I'm late to the game here, but anyone who's looking for a unique flick and don't mind watching 2 people drifting in the ocean for 75% of it should check this out if you haven't already.

Heh, I remember one of my friends giving a summary of the movie after seeing it:

So there's these guys, and they're in the ocean
Some sharks show up, then they leave, then they come back again

Yeah, that's about it...

This was not a good movie. I particularly didn't care for the 5-second closeup of a light switch.

Did you like the TOTALLY random and unwarranted nude scene?

Not that I didn't like it, but it was so out of nowhere.
