My work from home plans have taken a hit. I asked the office tech team to configure the vpn. All was fine until yesterday when it suddenly failed to connect. My desktop is configured too and it's working there.

How could that suddenly happen with my VPN?

can some other VPN program help?

What is the error message? And what program are you using to connect?

Also, are you running Microsoft Office on this machine? The only reason I ask is because if I have a hard time connecting if Outlook is running and/or Communicator sitting there trying to sign in.

I am a little confused by your post. Do you have one computer accessing the VPN or two? Desktop or laptop?

This stuff barely works. I mean it is precarious and hangs by a thread. I've discovered that my citrix will fail to connect at bootup, for apparently random reasons. But if I kill the process pnamain.exe It will then work just fine. I'm sure all VPNs are quirky like this, especially if its got like 5-10 separate processes running. If one gets hung up it dont know what to do with itself and you are screwed. You just gotta figure what process to kill to make it work, since these programs usually only restart processes if its not already running when you click your shortcut.

I'm assuming your using the OpenVPN client. Are you sure you are typing in the right username and password?
