I want to look at open-source iSCSI targets as a target for backups of virtual servers. Microsoft's Hyper-V, in particular.
While Hyper-V itself is working well for me, there are currently severe limitations on where backups can be directed. One of the few options is an iSCSI target. I'd like to find something I could put on a low-cost box and feed backups to it.
Anybody care to share any experiences with any of the three open-source iSCSI targets I've found (Ardis, UNH, and iSCSI Enterprise Target)?
Thanks,
