So, anyone that has used this...

How good is the stability of Open Office?

How good is it at saving Spreadsheets and Word Processing docs in order to be cross combatible with Microsoft Office? On this end, I'm more worried about compatiblity with Excel, even though I won't be using many advanced functions.
