Open Office Impress extension for mozilla?

Hey all

I just got rid of my dads old microsoft office xp and replaced it with OpenOffice, what I want to know is if there is an extension or a way to play PPS files straight from his e-mail without having to open the impress editor? Before when he was using office xp he'd just click open with microsoft office and the power point would play automatically without opening power point.

Any thoughts?
