I just upgraded to an ASUS A7V266 xp1700+ with a geforce 2 ti500 running win 98se.... I just got this all running and am playing with it. and I tried to run Quake 3.. comes up and says the GL subsystem thingy can't find it or something like that. i've tried to run some other games in open gl and it doesn't seem to like them either.. like Quake 2.... half life...... So... any advice on what to do to fix this?

reinstall your gfx drivers and if you're on XP dont use the defult drivers. You could also try the latest version of www.glsetup.com if you use 9x.

Same problem i had this evening trying to play RTCW.

Insure you D/Ld and installed the latest 4in1's
Get the new nvidia drivers from their site, 23.XX
Insure you've installed the latest DirectX

This cleared up my problem, which looks the same as yours :)
