Open Gl HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

whenever i use open gl with tribes 2 it doesnt go full screen...that start bar would be shown from win98se.... samething with unreal tournament but thank god i use d3d for that.... but anyways im on a geforce 2 mx with direct x 8.0a and the latest detonator drivers on win98se... please help if u have any solutions.... it would be greatly appreciated
(i posted this on a forum.... its not just with tribes 2)
