I have an Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS card that I'd like to replace with a passively cooled card that would get similar Open GL framerates. Suggestions would be appreciated.

newegg has the MSI G3Ti200 PRO-T which is $105, passivly cooled (or so it is in the picture), and based of the Gefrorce3 core so it's a ton faster than the GTS.

You might want to look at ATi Radeon 9000. Its low power consumption allows making pretty fast fanless cards. I've seen quite a few 9000 or 9000pro card models that don't have a fan.

;) If you can get a passively cooled GF3TI200 ($90?) then this is certainly the fastest passively cooled option. Rad9000/9000pro ($80?) is relatively close behind and like GF3 cards it sports full DX8 hw functions which is VERY nice for some current and all up coming games. GF2MX are a bit dated and slower than your GTS, but MX400 ($40?) cards are cheap and aren't unbearably slower. GF4MX420 ($70?) are the best match for your GF2GTS card BUT sport better image quality, AA, dual display, TVout and hw DVD playback. Go by your budget and needs, BTW what CPU are you running? This makes a big diff as to real world perf with diff gfx cards.

Same card I have! But I paid $69 for it. I since then, added my own ramsinks, and 2 60mm fans (One on HSF, other on a "stand" on back of PCB)... though I'm sure the fans help... it overclocked like a charm.

I have mine clocked at 240/544, completely stable.. and capable of 244/558 stable.
