SCROTUS says bribery is basically legal.

What's sad is I'm pretty sure that was a 9-0 decision.

I feel like the whole lawsuit thing should be a two way st. If you can't sue the President, the President can't sue you or has any outstanding lawsuits auto terminated if they're elected.

But welcome to the USSA I guess.

Yeah, ask E. Jean Carrol how that’s working out for her. Trump believes he doesn’t have to pay out on a rendered civil judgement because he’s POTUS again.

All of the billionaires in politics are why the citizens united decision has to be fixed. Here is a perfect example, RFK’s proposed running mate basically saying she owns Warnock and Ossof.

It's too late.
What you are seeing now is the dark money that has run the game since, when?, coming out into the light.
They dont have to hide anymore. Neither do the bribes. When corruption is normalized even legalized ... it's not really corruption anymore is it, it's just the way of doing business.

I suppose so. It sure feels like many third world countries where it is pay to play.

Can't jeopardize the big merger they want to go through.

Money before all other things.
It's funny how casually this is talked about because we all know it's true. In the US if you have business before the government you should bribe the president.

Republicans so laser focused on the Biden Crime Family that they can't see that the corruption is coming from inside the house.

Also, pretty stupid to try and bribe Trump. He doesn't even have the good sense to stay bought.
I saw people say this and I don't agree. It's true that if you have a future transaction you will probably need to bribe him again but Trump has an incentive to show bribing him is effective so he probably lets this transaction go through. I suspect the people bribing him know this, it's just their concerns are a lot bigger than what Trump is skimming.

Of course there is always the question of why the president can openly solicit and take fucking bribes, but I digress.

You will be shocked to learn that after four years of laser focus Comer has suddenly lost all interest in executive branch corruption.

He must have been conducting oversight so hard he's all oversighted out now.
