Opel Antara GTC Concept @ 2005 Frankfurt Show = Next Saturn Vue

It looks "cool", but it the roundness makes me think Lexus RX too much...would be nice to get a GM discount on it though 😀

It looks like a Chrysler Crossfire on 'roids.

I don't really like the 2 door SUV concept, but it is cooling looking.

The rear is nicely styled, but the front has too much going on - just like the new Mercedes AMG M-class. Ditch some of the unecessary chrome bits like under the side-view mirrors, door scallops, and hood vents, and it would look better.

Speaking of Saturn, I saw a Saturn 4-door the other day with a huge crack (you can actually see inside the door) on the rear door on the driver side... I guess that's what you get for having dent-resistant doors, instead of dents you get cracks...

Next Saturn Vue to be IDENTICLE
?The difference between Opel and Vauxhall in Europe and Saturn in the U.S. was a difference that wasn?t producing any benefits for us,? Lutz said.

Saturn has been ?a brand in search of a design identity,? he said.

Lutz said some of the shared vehicles will be designed in the United States.
Probably the best decision GM has made in years. I hope these models sell or this is going to put off the entire industry from re-branding European models, even nice ones like the new Opels.

To be honest, I am really suprised they kept it under the Saturn name since it is so tarnished, at this point. The first thing everyone thinks when they hear Saturn is plastic car even though there won't be platic body panels anymore.

Yeah, Saturn is ditching the plastic body panels starting with the Sky.

That Antara concept is hottt. If it's the next Vue then WTG Saturn. It does resemble the Infiniti FXs but that's a good design to imitate as the FXs are gorgeous.

That looks awesome. BUT, haven't they heard of rain and snow?... where's the rear wipers?

It's a concept!

It's a nice one in that it borrows heavily from other handsome SUVs.
