OP tag for the OP on a thread?

I was going through a thread with a computer problem. I had to scroll all the way back to first page top to find the Original Poster.

Wouldn't that be cool to have OP tag for an OP of a particular thread?

Just to follow up, AVS does this with a very simple "Thread Starter" tag in the banner of the post: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/150-blu-ray-software/1310647-tron-legacy-2d-3d.html

Can't think of any other places right now, but thought I would link to one for reference.

Could not see the tag there. I got the idea from Reddit. Although it is not a forum but tag of OP is there for OP of the thread.

Too many mails? Had a difficult time when 100s of emails from Facebook clogged my Inbox. Optional notification to email based on thread would be nice.
