I saw this on Slickdeals last week....I was about to get one from Scamazon for $38.99 and decided to wait and see if it went on sale as promised.

I just ordered one and got it for less than $33 after tax. (bummer they have a warehouse in my state, but $5 is $5.

No, not at all. I would be VERY surprised if MS lowers the live price. People are paying for it so they don't need to change the price. If that was going to be the new price these wouldn't have been sold out so quickly.
