Alive again!

---

[DEAD again] New deal, again at $289.99, XFX 8GB reference blower RX 5700 card:

---

[DEAD] XFX 8GB reference blower RX 5700 $289.99 @ Newegg, WITH both "freebies" (3-month XBox gaming for Windows trial, plus free game, Borderlands 3 or some other one)

---

Let me scrounge up a link.

SRS good deal. I snagged one.

Edit: Marking this one not-dead, since they are back in stock, now. But the price is $329.99, rather than $289.99, the reason that this thread was posted.

Also adding this link, they hasve a cool-looking "Raw II" AIB 5700XT model for $409.99.

Even hotter, the "new" game bundle (Ghost Recon (something) or Borderlands 3, your choice), is apparently being honored for purchased of these cards, even though it wasn't listed on the purchase page or your order confirmation, as per "XFX_Official"'s comment on SD. Look on SD for the thread for more info.

Edit: SORRY! Looks like it was misinformation, or something nefarious.

I spoke to an XFX rep over the phone and they confirmed this should come with the games (they knew this was posted on slickdeals too). Did you get a code emailed from best buy?

I bought this and I never got a code for a game. Best Buy only emailed me a code for the 3 month pass which I already have.

Bump for XFX RX 5700 reference deal @ Newegg for $289.99 with both freebies! Great deal! (Disclaimer: I own this card. I didn't get the second freebie game deal though, I got mine from BestBuy, JUST before they started offering the extra free game. Sigh. Wish I had waited.)

Now I'm wondering, in reference to these reference designs, "how low can they go"? As long as the mfgs still have stock of the blower cooler models, I assume that they'll keep slashing prices.

Bump, $289.99 XFX 8GB reference RX 5700 card is back @ Newegg!

IMHO, for a same/similar price as a GTX 1660 ti, the RX 5700 8GB crushes it.

New cards don't come with DVI ports, sadly. But you CAN get DisplayPort-to-DVI-D (maybe even DL) "Active" adapters, for maybe $20-40. All new cards come with DisplayPort connectors on them. So don't fret.

Even cheaper and easier, might be a cable, that goes from the HDMI output of the card, to the DVI-D input on the monitor. They make those cables too, like maybe $5 on a good sale, to $15 or maybe $20 at the high-end.

I thought about that but I don’t have good luck with adaptors. I know from experience the adaptor will fail 3-6 months from now at the worst moment possible
