oos... probably dead... $90 for 128gb samsung 830 ssd

I wasn't quick enough yesterday on the 128gb one and it sold out. I jumped on it today. Going to use it on my girlfriend's 6 years old Dell computer and see if it will make it any snappier.
 
Good deal, would jump on it if I needed a drive soon. But as it stands, I should just wait a few months and hopefully this will be $50 by then 🙂
 
Thanks, been waiting and waiting for a killer deal on a quality 128GB or larger SSD to replace my aging Raptor RAID 0 setup.

At $89.99 shipped, couldn't pass on this one.

these feel like hot deals because the prices have been dropping so dramatically, but maybe they are not. maybe these prices are the new normal.

$50 sounds good to me.
 
dang whats with these SSD deals lol, my friend texted me this at 4am did not see it until now. 90 bucks is a hell of a price

I took the deal far better than the special 20% off but at $89 for a Samsung 128GB is a no-brainer. Sure the price will probably be lower by next month or even next BF or maybe higher? 128GB is the sweetspot for me because I still plan on using my hdd for general storage.

Yeah, I know. It reminds me of the DDR3 deals from the oversupply of RAM last year. So maybe there's some kind of NAND oversupply out there, so SSD prices are also dropping, hence lots of deals. I have a feeling I should stock up on SSDs now.

Pretty much. I had one in my cart and ready to checkout before aborting the order. I already have 64gb M4 that's not even halfway filled. I'm plenty happy with using HD as storage and it's fast enough. By the time I actually need bigger SSD, 256gb might be $90. There's no point future proofing technology hardware. It's waste of money.
 
sigh... didn't even get in on my own deal... left it sitting in the basket whilst i did some other things... of course, i didn't even need the thing, but since when has that mattered...

A bunch of people, including myself, who ordered right after the deal went live (12:01am PST) are still on "order verification". Meanwhile, it keeps showing up in stock every once in awhile and people who get them are getting to "charged" within minutes and even "shipped" in some cases.

Same here, I did receive an "order verification" e-mail, but that doesn't mean they can't cancel. We'll see....hopefully Newegg doesn't pull a "Newegg" on me...again

What's even crazier is that I placed a second order from a different account about an hour ago and it went to charged/packaging within 15-20 minutes. These have been in and out of stock all evening (Photo below) and these newer orders are going right through, while earlier buyers are still waiting.

grabbed 2 just after 3 am (est), i stayed up purposely just to order. email stating they shipped at 11 am. i've been waiting for a good deal and now seemed like the time. 2 in raid0 for my system drive added to my 4x3tb raid (currently my system drive). can't wait.

My order is still waiting to be verified after 24 hours. I don't think I will be upset if they cancelled the order. I just bought it because it's at a good price point and because everybody is saying how great it is to have an ssd drive. Don't really need it but Am curious to find out what the fuss is all about🙂
 
Did anyone receive their order?

Over 48 hours since I placed my order and it's still in "order verification" E-mailed them 18 hours ago...no reply...called them 12 hours ago, the guy acted like I was wasting his time...great service
