Orico makes decent stuff. I have a heavy duty metal USB 3 hub with a fifth charging port and it is built very well and has been rock solid reliable for me. I wanted a powered USB hub and the reviews were good. This looks like a cheaper version with plastic instead of metal but it's still probably the same internals.

Just a note, this is a "charging hub" - all of the parts are for charging ONLY, and NOT data.

I am using one of their prior "smart" charging hubs, with two 2.4A ("smart") charging ports, and three 1.0A ports, and it works... mostly. The instructions said to unplug the AC cable, when switching devices on the "smart" ports to reset and allow them to re-detect the device. And for a supposedly high-current port, they never seemed to allow me to use my 5V/2.0A 7" Windows tablets, without draining the battery slowly, while still plugged in. (When they should be slightly charging.)

So I'm hoping that if the ports on this one have a fixed amperage, rather than being "smart", I'll fare better with my tablets.

Oh, and OOS.
