Well I just ordered the Saphire 9700 Pro to replace the ATI 9700 Pro I had to return last week. Let's hope the Saphire works out of the box unlike the ATI 9700 Pro refurb.

I've had my refurb Sapphire Atlantis 9700 Pro for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. Got it from Newegg and it came with everything but the pass-through power connector so I added that to an order from Axiontech for a couple of bucks. Good luck MrC4!

So do these cards come with drivers and stuff, or is it just the card?

I wish to upgrade my ATI 64DDR card and want one that has vi/vo like my old card, but without the drivers and software I guess it is pointless right?

Mine came with the original Sapphire disc, vga/dvi adapter, and tv-out cable. The only thing it was missing was the pass-through power cable. Of course, YMMV.

Looks like their OOS of all the 9700 Pros now. If you missed out keep checking back - they post more all the time.

If you want to gamble you might try the Sapphire 9500 128 MB NON PRO model. I was lucky to get one that was able to software hacked to be a 9700. Runs at 360/305 and get 12400 in 3DMark2002 with a Athlon XP1600@2000. There is about a 70 percent chance you will get one that will be able to change to a 9700 with no "side effects" like what they call checkerboard. There's a lot of info on this at Rage3D and Guru3d Forums.

BTW Newegg is sold out of the card for the next few days...it is selling NEW for $159 shipped.

DoobieOnline : How do you find out or know how many are in stock?

I'm glad it's OOS I can't afford any more cheap stuff until the gov't pays me back on taxes.

Huh... are you being sarcastic? These have been out for 6 months now. The next gen Radeon 9900 is just around the corner.

Put a quantity of 100 in your cart, they'll only add how many they have in stock. Wait until the R9900 come out in about three weeks, then the price on all the R9700's should drop substantially.
