Didn't post this on Hot Deals, because this is a recently-debuted China-seller on Newegg.

But if this deal is real, it could certainly help gamers on a budget, who are looking for 8GB cards. It could also just be a drop in "the flood" of power-washed Chinese ex-mining cards.

I've ordered several, and hopefully will remember to post pics when I get them.

It is a mining card no doubt, whatever card it is. It has modern connectors and no DVI which is a good sign. Hopefully at worst, it is the 4GB version, and doesn't have a mining bios you can't flash.

I hope that it's not just a plain fake, but after looking over the cards offered from that vendor, it didn't appear that they were selling any "obvious fakes".

I see the same shroud for the card with various brand names on Ali Express. It may be a Chinese market only model. As long as it works correctly and doesn't have some funky bios you can't flash, it is a hot deal for $60.

If you are referring to the one Dawid messed with? Wasn't that a mobile variant they made a desktop card? I should think a 5500XT would not have that kind of issue. You will know by early December.

Mine hasn't shipped yet, and I still have the option to cancel. I'm gonna give them another week, then cancel if I don't see any progress on the order.

Looks like stock is back and price is bumped to $140. guessing all those early orders are never shipped.
