OOS! Argh! Window Question inside.

Alright, since newegg is out of the particular version of the Chieftec 1080 style I'm interested and there is no eta for them coming in I've decided to consider other options... such as.. Ahanix Platinum XP the only trouble is... I really dislike the teal-ish color window, does anyone know what they make those windows out of? If it's plexiglass, that's easy enough to get, but what about the adhesion? I'm hoping there is a way to simply swap that window out for a clear one, what do you think?

I don't see any rivets, so it may be latches on the inside or just glue or adhesive. I'd be more concerned about finding a window that large w/out having to pay a decent amount. Most windows are made of acrylic, but I wouldn't bother with that particular case if you don't like the color, there's bound to be similar ones out there w/ a clear window, you just gotta look

I know a guy who has this case, I'll have to pay him a visit and have a look at it, other than that fugly window it's a pretty nice case for the money. Check this site out: Clear windows $13 and I can even get an extra fan hole... might be worth it.

If this window is stuck on with some adhesive you might have trouble removing it. I bought a side panel that attached the window with some 3M adhesive, then I went and cracked the plexi I figured I could just remove the plexi and replace it. Problem is, that adhesive really really works. I started bending the panel trying to remove the window! I emailed support and they suggested using an "industrial hair dryer" to losen the adhesive's bond! Unfortunately I don't have access to such a beast, and feel a little leary about baking my aluminum side panel for fear of melting the plexi before losening the adhesive. Fortunately, the crack looks kinda cool with the biohazard laser cut side panel...
