alright so i started to oc my system and i put the fsb up to 250mhz, and then save and exit bios, and then my comp wont start up, no post or nothing, what do i do??

Start with a much lower fsb, after you clear the cmos, and change your ram-to-fsb ratio.

And I guess you didn't think my idea to start out at ~225fsb was a good idea, huh?😀 Anyway, the answer to your last question on that thread is ~55C, although you'll probably find some of these guys around who think that their computers should be silent that will tell you 60C, maybe even higher. I've noticed in my years of OCing that a cooler proc. not only lasts longer, it overclocks both higher and with more stability.

yea i started at 225 and everything went great, so i went big, right up to 250, whoops

how do i clear the cmos, just take out the battery?

You can take out the battery, but there should also be a jumper that can be shorted for about 10 seconds that will clear it also. Well, my advice to you is once that's done, make sure your memory is set to run 5:4, then go back to 225fsb and start raising it by 4-5 mhz at a time, until it becomes unstable (when it will no longer pass the torture test of Prime95), then go back down to the last frequency that it was stable at, or raise your vcore (processor voltage) and try again.
