Type 2 here and highly insulin resistant. Just got to my destination after a long drive and the light here isn't great. Being tired and all I did something I haven't before and injected 110 units of Humalog.

Well at least I noticed it so I'll be testing and eating all the carbs I want!

Will I get teh ebolas?

You need to get a bottle of whiskey and start masking the effects pronto.

110 units that sounds like a crazy amount. Have some pasta and ice cream. Seriously be careful tonight.

What's your usual dosage? Anyone there that can keep an eye on you?

Humalog is a short acting insulin that I would normally use after a high carb meal and I'd use about 20 units and this is a potentially fatal dose BUT I'm testing every 15-30 minutes and drinking lots of soda to compensate. I'll be fine, but I feel like an idiot, not something I like. Peak effect is about 2-1/2 hours after injection and it will wear off entirely in about 5 hours, but it's not how I intended to spend my evening.

Dude, I would go get the sickest quart of ice cream and eat it straight from the container!

As your doctor I prescribe you a thorough colonic irrigation with 1L of Mexican Coca-Cola every 45 minutes.

A co-worker told me that recently we had an instrument report a patient with a glucose of 3. Even ran it over to another hospital and their machine reported a 4. We figure there must've been some kind of interfering substance in the serum.

Yeah that's pretty much dead and buried.
