oops techtv's screensavers screwed up

they recommend someone run ipconfig to check network settings. but the user said he was using win98. im pretty sure win98 doesn't use ipconfig, but winipcfg(?) and not at the command prompt, but at the run. both kevin and patrick screwed up.

and??... people screw up everyday its not like they are perfect just because they are on TV...

actually, IIRC, you could use ipconfig or winipcfg in win98, and it doesnt matter if it is from run or the command prompt.

Yep, it works. But renew and release commands are a bit different to execute.

Yep, it works. But renew and release commands are a bit different to execute.

They made sure to specify to use /release_all and /renew_all when demonstrating. I was watching it too, and nothing they said about it was incorrect. Teh OP = teh Dumb.
