I have a badly planned slab of concrete for a back porch, it allows water to pool & seep into the sunroom, so I'm trying to cut it up into small pieces & use it as filler for several projects I'll be starting soon, & putting down a flagstone patio to replace it, with a drainage system.

Damn blade slipped off the holder & rounded the edges of the arbour holed the center of a couple of blades:(

Oh well, have a diamond bladed walk behind concrete saw lined up next weekend.

I'm ignoring it till I can re-do it.

Will have very little grass when I'm done next summer, will be taken up with 2 koi ponds & groundcover.

If I have the shoulder surgery in Feb like I'm planning, I'll hire some help to start digging holes & supervise.

Just hang out @ the post office corner with my labor pool;)

I need to read up a little on building rock walls etc, have about 5 books coming. I just hire out the true grunt work, digging holes & carrying rocks.

I reek of 2 stroke oil:D

Sphynx cats really are mutants, they have a mutated hair gene.

Yep, I paid the extra $5 for insurance, whew. I wish I had one, but there's no way in hell I can justify (rationalize) it.

Guess I know why it was in the shop broken all last year.

johngute, do you work @ a national chain or a local store? I wondering if I can get a better deal on a blade next weekend by picking one up @ Home Depot, the closest rental place makes you buy a diamond blade for $90.

i work at a mom and pop store, we charge by the amount of wear on the blade
and its always less then $90.
but buying a blade is a better deal if know you are going to use it up.

sounds like you got screwed if you ruined a $90 blade you paid for.
i don't know how home depot does it
