I absolutely, positively, made no such claim. Not here or anywhere.
I will take you at your word as I don't really want to dig through your post history. I hope you will forgive my presumption as it's reasonable to imagine a person who believes that there were no crimes committed posting statements similar to some of yours. Then again, I think I can imagine a nutjob or two making posts which resemble some of my posts at times too! :D

If what you claim is true, than RIP to your buddy. However, pointing out another forum member's hypocrisy does not make me a "dickbag" you moron.

The way you did it absolutely does. There's plenty of evidence to suggest Bush fabricated his justification for the Iraq war from the Downing Street memos to the Joe Wilson debacle.

It's a free country, and you're not breaking any forum rules, so you say what you want. Just know that when you say, sarcastically, "[evidence] will come to light any day now..." you twist a knife in every American that lost someone close over there and believes with very good reason that Bush is responsible and criminally liable.

But you don't care about that, you're more worried about scoring rhetorical points on a BBS. I see no reason for us to continue this: I'm ignoring you and ask you to do the same.

I believe that George Bush feels that his father thinks he's worthless and that, coupled with a childish notion of what it means to be a real man, caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. And technically, when a nation of similar self hating fools elects such a cowboy to represent them, what he does with that power is not considered criminal.

But let's not expect that those who voted for all that needless death will see their own moral culpability any time soon. People don't generally cotton easily to the notion that their own stupidity has caused the deaths of huge numbers of people.

This is a good point, the scope of the grief he caused goes way beyond Americans, as my post may have implied. The visceral response his name must trigger in many Iraqis surely surpasses what I feel.

It's hilarious to see how this thread about Joran Van Der Sloot turned into a Bush commited war crimes fiasco.
I consider it a good sign. Much like a thread about Britney Spears turning into a discussion of electoral reform would also be an indication that people might care less about totally inconsequential things and more about things that actually deserve to be in national headlines.

Die in a fucking fire.

Is it too much to ask to keep white-trash-infotainment on the cable? Where's Haaayle
I am not feeling the "love and peace" this a.m.:( Sad. Really sad. I did link CBS later so I hope that will redeem me in your eyes. And I will be happy to quote NPR and the San Fran Examiner if it will help. I have so few friends. You know, living in my Mom's basement and all. I could shower more often, I guess.

Edit: 1000 posts. I should get a real job.

How the fvck did this thread get hijacked into an anti-Bush thread? It's not like there aren't hundreds of other threads to here where it would be more appropriate.

ATP&N never fails to disappoint.

Right here is where it happened.

Unless, of course, the subject is George W. Bush whose crimes and the evidence of said crimes, you know, will come to light any day now...........you fucking hypocrite.

For what its worth, Joran Van Der Sloot is in police custody and is undergoing questioning.
Joran did not resist arrest and answers may soon be forthcoming. If nothing else, if the police do not release Joran, we may have a basis to assume they may bring criminal charges.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100603/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_peru_van_der_sloot
The suspect, Joran van der Sloot, was escorted by three police officers as he was taken from a dark vehicle into a police office in downtown Santiago, Chile. He made no comment as he entered, walking calmly and without handcuffs as journalists shouted his name.
...
Flores, who had been seen with van der Sloot early Sunday, was found Wednesday lying face down on the floor of the suspect's hotel room in Lima, with her neck broken, Peruvian police Gen. Cesar Guardia told The Associated Press. She was fully clothed, with no signs of having been sexually abused.
Authorities found no potential murder weapons in the room, Garcia said.

That's a bit different from the initial report of her having been stabbed to death.
