After midnite already?! Picked up some fresh sweet corn and strawberries at Trader Joe, to go with leftover shrimp - and then totally forgot to eat. Hmm, eat now and stay up a few more hours and work, or get some sleep and have a really good breakfast?

It looks so good. Oh heck, eat now.

Livin' dangerously!

Son is doing REALLY well. He's in rehab now being monitored nearly all the time and so far there's been absolutely nothing wrong with his heart. They figured out what caused his collapse and now he knows what to look for. Once they let him out of bed (they kept him in bed in the ICU) he's bounced back really quickly. (thanks for asking!)

Wow what a pointless thread.

Where's the sage button?

I know. I'm sorry. It was wrong of me to waste the three seconds it took you to read and respond to my post. It won't happen again.

To add interest, here's the recipes I used.

Corn: boil water in large pot, add corn, cover, lower heat, cook for 5 minutes. Butter (no salt)
Strawberries: clean, rinse, slice in half. Add whipped cream (pour cream in bowl, whisk until whipped)
Leftover shrimp salad: simmer fresh shrimp in stale beer. Drain, clean, toss with sauce. Eat some, refrigerate the rest.

Does this help? folks here seem to like recipes a lot.
