Hello all, I wanted to buy a dedicated print server for my HP LaserJet 4+ because none of the computers at my home network are necessarly on at any given time. I looked on ebay, and bought a JetDirect card that I thought would work - because it had an RJ45 port.
Long story short : I can't get a physical link, and the RJ-45 port is labeled "Token Ring (UTP)". I didn't realize some token ring networks used RJ-45 since the only onces I've ever had to service used DB9 or Coax, but, well, this isn't going to work with plugged into a standard ethernet switch, is it?
